Tesla Model S

I present to you the brand new Tesla Model S officially unveiled today. The Model S, like its older brother the Tesla Roadster, is a 100% electric car that will more than likely get over 200 miles per charge. This equates, given California electricity rates, to an equivalent of around 2 cents per mile. As a comparison my 40mpg Toyota Yaris costs around 7 cents per mile given current gas prices. Tesla Motors is also touting with new battery technology a charge time of only 45 minutes. History in the making? I’ll post specs as they become available. Click the pictures for their full size.
